Design:
The fascia of the phone is cut from the same fabric as many budget brothers to see. It is a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with 720p resolution and a watercolor groove. The display is accessible for media use and regular indoor use. The geometric gradient design on the back is slightly different from the C11, but it has the same textured feel. The plastic build should withstand most of the impacts, probably why there is no case inside the box. Rest, peripheral buttons and holes are as predictable. Performance:
The Realme C12 packs the same MediaTek Helio G35 SC that was present in the C11. However, the phone has 3GB RAM + 32GB storage option, which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. You can play with about 22GB of data for about 32GB, so it was nice to see a wide range of options present.
The phone’s performance seems to be average, and the phone becomes loose as several applications are running in the background. Realme C12’s standards are behind Realme C3, in line with Realme C11. PUBG can run but only in minimal settings, and even then, the touch response is quite low, which gives a great-not-so-great gameplay experience. The fingerprint sensor worked to my satisfaction and fitted much better than the less reliable face unlock. Call quality and the microphone worked just as well as expected.
Camera and battery:
A selfie port of the 5MP V-notch waterdrop type did not get that much area of the screen; on the other hand, the board combines two 2MP monochromatic and 13MP primary cameras, a combo of retro units. Compared to the C15, this 8MP selfie camera will be replaced by a 5MP camera.
The Li-Po 6000 mAh battery runs simultaneously using the micro USB port with 10W charging in the phone’s vein can be a complicated task as it takes about two and a half hours. This does not mean that it compromises battery life; on the other hand, the C12 has huge battery life.
